About Carys
Carys gained her BSC degree with honours in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2018, following this she has spent her time gaining valuable knowledge and experience in a variety of equine fields, leading to the launch of Carys Berry Veterinary Physiotherapy 2021.

Having always had a passion for animals Carys began volunteering at her local riding a school where she then purchased her first horse. From here she worked within a variety of equine industries including at a point-to-point yard, one of Australias leading Thoroughbred studs and at a professional polo club. These experiences have allowed Carys to gain an understanding of varied equine disciplines and the demands they put on both horse and rider.

Carys is insured and a registered member of the NAVP (National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists) and follows their code of practice closely, in addition to following the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 which requires consent from a vet prior to treatment.
What is Veterinary Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy helps to treat and manage many muscle, joint and ligament problems, soft tissue injuries and neurological conditions. It is used to aid rehabilitation by, reducing pain, improving movement & restoring normal muscle strength and function.
Treatments include massage, electrotherapy, stretching, mobilisation, remedial exercise programmes and tailored management advice.
